DR. MARIA CSILLAG
Dr. Maria Csillag graduated as a dentist from Semmelwes University, Faculty of Dentistry, Hungary in 1998. She continued her masters education in Doctoral Sciences and completed her dissertation on “Normal and pathological circulation of marginal gingiva and the pulp” at Doktori Iskola in Hungary. She also completed post-doc training at Robert Franklin University in Germany and the Bergen University in Norway from 1999 – 2003. She has her professional degree and post-doc certifications from Hungary (summa cum laude). She has worked at the Semmelweis University and is now a mandatory lecturer and researcher with the university. She started private practice in 2004 and is an Aesthetic and Smylist specialist in Budapest, Hungary. In 2008 she established Smylist, Ltd. is a the owner and Managing Director of Smylist. She has pubished a number of papers during and subsequent to her post-doc training in various scientific journals. She is the creator of the Smylist concept and also the creator of the Smylist Aesthetic Software. She is a world-renowned speaker and trainer in aesthetic and functional dentistry. She has lectured around the globe in close to 25 countries and conducted numerous workshops on the Smylist concept.
She has focussed extensively on the Smylist concept which has evolved as a complete system for rehabilitating the dentition and correcting body imbalances and numerous associated medical problems with dental correction. She continues to publish articles on the Smylist concept in numerous dental publications.
DR. AJAY KAKAR
Dr. Ajay Kakar, Periodontist and Implantologist, in private practice in Mumbai with his wife and other colleagues. He is a Past-President of the International Academy of Periodontology, the Past-President of the IAACD and a member of the Extended Board of the European Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has completed his certification as a Smylist Dentist and extensively teaches the Smylist concept along with Dr. Maria Csillag. He presents on Periodontology, Implantology, Aesthetic Dentistry, Aligner Orthodontics, Dental Photography, Practice Management, Information Management and Association Management. Lecturing extensively around the globe allows him to teach, travel and taste. In spite of being a compulsive foodie, he is a fitness freak and can be spotted jogging, working out or displaying his net skills on the badminton court. Synonymous with electronic science, he has exploited his understanding of computers effectively to blend it into the dental arena. He is the CEO of BITEIN, his creations over a decade ago and is the forerunner of the Internet and Indian dentistry. His stint as the Editor of “Esthetic Expressions” was the catalyst for his ability to ink his thoughts on dentistry and otherwise. He is currently the editor of a new dental journal called “Illusions Chairside”. He is a passionate reader of a variety of subjects, of which “Objectivism – the philosophy of Ayn Rand” remains the backbone of his approach to life.
