Dr. Hsu has been involved in many clinical implant studies, such as the hybrid dentures and immediate loading on a single implant. Hsu is currently a tenured Professor at UAB School of Dentistry Department of Restorative Sciences and is the course director of clinical and didactic complete dentures for Junior and Senior classes. He is the recipient of UAB President of Excellence in Teaching. He has been recognized by the graduating classes since 2009 and has been invited to deliver the Final Lecture for several times. He received distinguished alumni awards from both CSMU and NYU. His research interests are implant and prosthodontics.
