Sammy Noumbissi DDS MS earned his DDS from Howard University College of Dentistry, Washington DC. Jens Tartsch DDS, Dr.med.dent.
Dr. Jens Tartsch is speaker and expert for ceramic implantology in Switzerland. He graduated in 1992 at the „Free University of Berlin/Germany“ and placed his first implants in 1993 during his post graduate education at Prof. M. Lang, former president of the German Society for Dental Implantology. Today Dr. Tartsch is working in his own private clinic in Zürich/Switzerland. His main emphasis is in ceramic implantology, the immunological aspects in dentistry, material incompatibilities and the treatment of patients with chronic diseases. He is an active investigator and coordinator on clinical trials evaluating periimplantitis caused by titanium and a variety of other clinical trials. Dr. Tartsch is a board member of the Swiss Society for Anti Aging Medicine and Prevention (SSAAMP), President of the Swiss Society for environmental Dental Medicine (SGUZ) and acts as clinical advisor to the Seegarten Clinic in Zürich.

Corrado Piconi MSc
Catholic University of Sacred Heart School of Medicine Rome, Italy
After completing his studies in Rome, Prof. Piconi joined the Ceramics Technology Laboratory of the National Committee for Nuclear Energy (Casaccia Research Center) where he performed research on the thermophysical properties of Uranium and Plutonium dioxides. In 1989, due to a moratorium on nuclear reactor development in Italy, he transferred the expertise of his research group to the development of ceramics for medical applications, with special emphasis on zirconia and calcium phosphates. From 2000 to 2005 he was R&D Project Manager at Tecnobiomedica SpA where he has been Scientific Coordinator and expert evaluator of R&D Research Project funded by the European Union and by National Research Council (CNR). During that time period he was faculty in the medical school at “La Sapienza” University of Rome. From 2007 to 2014 he was Scientific Coordinator of the Brindisi Laboratory of GHIMAS SpA, performing research on ceramic scaffolds for tissue regeneration. Currently he is a Lecturer in applied physics at the Institute of Orthopedics, Faculty of Medicine of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, where he has been teaching since 1999. He is a Senior Fellow at the Center for New Materials and Prosthetic Technologies in Tor Vergata University. He is consultant of several Italian and EU companies manufacturing medical devices. Prof. Piconi has authored of more than 100 papers on biomaterials and written a book on zirconia in dentistry.
